Tynegrain is launching a new 4m facility after 2011 turnover increased to 174m from 96m in 2010. Pofits increased to 2.3m from 1.9m. The company has recruited four graduates and is opening a 40,000-tonne grain store in Teesside.

Anglo-Eastern Plantations Plc, which owns, operates and develops plantations in Indonesia and Malaysia, has recorded revenue of 259.0 million dollars, 38 per cent higher than 187.2 million recorded in 2010. Group operating profit for 2011 was 96.0 million dollars, 48 per cent more than 64.9 million in 2010. Madam Lim Siew Kim is Chairman.

Cumbria agriculture, food and engineering group Carrs Milling Industries recorded revenues of £196m in the 26 weeks to March 2012, up from £175m in the six months to February 2011. Pre-tax profit increased by 31% from £5.7m to £7.4m. Results for the full year are expected to be ahead of the expectations.

Animal feed manufacturer Wynnstay Group Plc, based near Welshpool in Wales, has appointed Gareth Owen as new Chairman after former Non-Executive Chairman John Davies announced his intention to retire from the Board. Jim McCarthy, currently Non-Executive Director at the company will become Vice Chairman. The company reported a 42 per cent increase in revenue to £346.18m for the year to October 2011, up from £243.7m in 2010. Pre-tax profit increased 17 per cent to £6.9m for the same reporting period.
