London based property development company Reef Estates Limited, along with Premier Inn Hotels Ltd, have submitted plans to build a 10m hotel in Winchester, Hampshire. If approved, the hotel would be built next to the citys fire station, and approximately 55 jobs would be created as a direct result. The hotel would have 101 bedrooms and parking for up to 87 cars. Stewart Deering is Director of Reef Estates.

GVA and KWB have taken over an office development in Solihull, West Midlands, after the owners, Solihull Pavilions, was placed into administration. David Chubb and Matthew Hammond of accountancy firm PwC were appointed as joint administrators. Five office buildings are already let while four more and two acres of land are available for sale or let.

Chartered surveyors Fletcher King Plc, based in London, has advised that Harry Richardson has retired as a Non-Executive Director of the Company with effect from April 2012. Mr Richardson joined the Board in 1993. David Fletcher is Chairman of Fletcher King Plc.

Henry Davidson Developments is to start construction work on a £3.5m retail centre in Bridgwater, Somerset. Three units have been pre-let to The Southern Co-operative, Barnardos and an independent fast food operator. 16 apartments will be built above the retail units. The development is expected to create jobs.
