London based Capital & Regional Plc, an asset management company, is to purchase The Kingfisher Shopping Centre in Redditch, Worcestershire, as part of a joint venture with its capital partner Oaktree Capital Management. The acquisition will be completed in May 2012 and is funded by investments of 10.6 million and 42.4 million from Capital & Regional and Oaktree respectively. The remaining funding will be provided by The Royal Bank of Scotland and Santander through a 5 year, 86 million debt facility. High Scott-Barrett is Chief Executive of Capital & Regional.
