FirstGroup Plc is withdrawing FTR buses from York, putting 29 jobs at risk. The buses will be replaced with a fleet of easily accessible double decker buses by Easter 2012. The FTR buses will be relocated elsewhere in the group's northern region. In 2011 First Group Plc recorded £6.43bn turnover and employed 127,619 staff.
