Azzurri Communications has been awarded a multi-million pound, five year contract to provide a network and telecoms managed service to Reed Recruitment. It represents the third contract renewal by Reed and confirms Azzurris ability to provide long term support to large, multi-site organisations in the UK. The contract has the potential to create employment opportunities.

London based Inmarsat, a provider of global mobile satellite communications services, has recorded a 10 per cent rise in revenue to 355m dollars for 2012, up from 324m dollars in 2011. The company continues to grow and has added over 2000 of its FleetBoradband terminals between January and March 2012. The companys subscribers have increased to over 55000 during the same period. Rupert Pearce, is Inmarsats Chief Executive Officer.

BSkyB has outsourced customer service management to Firstsource Solutions following significant growth in customer numbers, with many taking multiple products. Firstsource is opening new call centres in Belfast and Cardiff to support the expansion of BSkyB and to maintain excellent levels of customer service. 2011 turnover £6.6bn, 1,6006 employees.

Azzurri Communications, a provider of managed communications services, and Eckoh Plc, a provider of speech recognition and payment solutions, have won a contract to supply Essex County Council with new speech recognition technology. Eckoh will develop and implement the solution across the Councils customer service operations and Azzurri Communications expertise will assist in its delivery.
