The Natural Power Consultants Ltd has secured three new biomass contracts, with a brewery in Glasgow, an ice cream manufacturer in Aberdeenshire and Barony College in Dumfries. Each contract involves Natural Power providing technical and project management services for anaerobic digestion systems. The contracts have the potential to create jobs.

Employees at Yorkshire Waters contact centre in Thornbury, Avon received an award at the Utility Industry Achievement Awards. The reward is considered the highest accolade in the water and energy sectors. The Loop Customer Management Team was formed by Vimla Mistry and were rewarded for going the extra mile in 2010 to reduce the level of high risk debt for the company.
