Surrey-based Rambler Metals and Mining Plc has purchased a 2% net smelter royalty on the Ming Mine held by Philippine Metals Inc. Rambler Metals invested C$600,000 in the acquisition. Turnover for the year to July 2011 was £2.2m and the company had 86 employees.

Pressure Technologies expects its Chesterfield Special Cylinders (CSC) division to beat market expectations in the 2011/12 fourth quarter after CSC secured new orders in the rapidly expanding deep water oil rig market.
