Signature Senior Lifestyle, which provides care accommodation for frail, elderly people, is building a £25m care home in New Malden, London, creating 90 new jobs. In 2010 the company recorded turnover of £7.14m and employed 279 staff.

London headquartered brewery company Fuller Smith & Turner has purchased 15 pubs from Enterprise Inns, based in Solihull, West Midlands for £22.9m. The pubs made operating profits of £1.7m in the year to the end of September 2011 whilst under Enterprise Inns ownership.

Middlesex Hospital redevelopment approved - potential new jobs
Exemplar Properties has secured planning approval for a major mixed use development on the site of the former Middlesex Hospital in London, which could create jobs.
