Advanced Supply a Bradford-based logistics grou, is to open a new 200,000 sq ft operations centre which is set to create up to 150 jobs this year. The company have also signed a 3 year deal with retailer Go Outdoors which will see Advanced invest an extra £5 million in its new Midlands warehouse and recruit 100 more staff

400 new jobs - expansion of manufacturing site
Supermarket Morrisons is creating 400 jobs at a new manufacturing site in Somerset by 2014. The company's distribution centre is being extended to provide a fruit and vegetable store and packhouse which will reduce the company's road miles by two million each year. In 2011 Morrison¢€™s recorded £16.48bn turnover and employed 132,074 staff.

Sales up 22% at family business
Family business Job Earnshaw and Bros of Wakefield in Yorkshire has recorded a year-on-year increase in retail sales of 22%. The company which runs Earnshaws Fencing Centres in Wakefield, Rotherham and Brigg, sells timber garden products and natural landscaping goods.
