New £10m hotel development - Joint venture with hotel group - 55 new potential jobs
London based property development company Reef Estates Limited, along with Premier Inn Hotels Ltd, have submitted plans to build a 10m hotel in Winchester, Hampshire. If approved, the hotel would be built next to the citys fire station, and approximately 55 jobs would be created as a direct result. The hotel would have 101 bedrooms and parking for up to 87 cars. Stewart Deering is Director of Reef Estates.

Office development acquired - Nine Solihull office buildings
GVA and KWB have taken over an office development in Solihull, West Midlands, after the owners, Solihull Pavilions, was placed into administration. David Chubb and Matthew Hammond of accountancy firm PwC were appointed as joint administrators. Five office buildings are already let while four more and two acres of land are available for sale or let.

£3.5m retail development - potential new jobs
Henry Davidson Developments is to start construction work on a £3.5m retail centre in Bridgwater, Somerset. Three units have been pre-let to The Southern Co-operative, Barnardos and an independent fast food operator. 16 apartments will be built above the retail units. The development is expected to create jobs.

Yorkshire office space let - Opening May 2012 - Jobs created
Sterling Capitol has rented 7,000 sq ft of office space at Capitol Park in Morley, West Yorkshire, to Ideal Heating. The company is to set up a Northern Centre of Excellence which will open in May 2012. Capitol Park has more than 450 people already employed on site. 263,000 sq ft warehouse let - 15 year lease to fashion retailer
Asset management company AXA Real Estate Investment Managers Limited has let its 263,000 sq ft Hurricane warehouse at Redhouse Interchange in Doncaster, Yorkshire to fashion and homewares retailer Next. Next has taken the property on a new 15 year FRI lease and the site will service its on-line sales division. The unit was built in 2007 and had been occupied by ASDA on a short term basis.

New five year contract secured
Engineering and project management company Amec has secured a new five year major framework contract from the North London Waste Authority. As part of the contract, Amec will help implement new waste services infrastructure for north London and will provide technical and planning services to the authority. 100 new jobs - business park gains 6 tenants
Oxford Properties has attracted six new tenants to Green Park, in Reading, Berkshire, which it purchased from PRUPIM in November 2011. The companies taking space at the park are expected to create 100 jobs. New tenants include the Chubb group, Raglan Housing Association, Sepura, Salcon Green Energy, Defence Support Solutions and Jardine Lloyd Thompson.
