40 new jobs - insurance fraud expansion - 12% growth expected
Bolton-headquartered law firm Keoghs LLP is recruiting 40 staff as part of a strategy to increase the number of insurance fraud claims it handles by up to 20% in 2012, following a 10% increase in 2011. The number of fraudulent claims is growing in all areas including motor insurance and commercial property.

Profit warning issued - Product sale suspended
Credit card insurer CPP has issued another profit warning after partners refused a key product in light of an ongoing investigation by the Financial Services Authority. Yorkshire-based CPP suspended all new sales of its identity protection product in March over allegations it may have overstated the risks of identity theft.
