The decision will safeguard 100 jobs at the plant.  E.on will burn the wood pellets alongside coal until the site closes in 2015. The development, led by Miller Birch, is now at the internal fit-out stage.  It should be ready for E.ON to move in by September 2013 and will safeguard 1,000 jobs.
