Updated 1st Jan 2012  -  Over the past accounting year, UK turnover in the Private Health Care & Voluntary sector companies monitored has grown by 2% to £45.4bn. Profits have decreased by 1% to £1.5bn.  Employee numbers have increased marginally by 0.6% to 905,578 in the same period.  The last 3 years have shown longer term turnover growth of 21% and an increase in employee numbers of 24%.  See UK Growth by Sector section for more detail.
