Updated 1st Feb 2012 -  UK Turnover in the Information Technology Software & Services sector companies monitored has increased by 0.5% over the last accounting year, to £182.8bn. Employee numbers have fallen by 2% to 853,615. Operating profits have increased to £14.6bn, a rise of 6% on the previous year.  Longer term, turnover has risen over the last 3 years by 23% and employee numbers have decreased by 2%.  See UK Growth by Sector section for more detail.
