Updated 1st Jan 2012  -  In the last accounting year, UK turnover in the Support Services sector companies monitored has fallen by 2% to £1003.8bn, with operating profits increasing marginally by 0.04% to £41.9bn. Employee numbers fell by 1% in the same period to 6,063,906.  In the longer term, the last 3 years have seen a 93% rise in turnover and a rise in the number of employees by 3%.  See UK Growth by Sector section for more detail.
