Updated 1st May 2012  -  UK Turnover in the Food & Beverage products & services sector companies monitored has decreased over the past accounting year by 10% to £193.1bn, and experienced a rise of 1% in profits to £26.1bn.  In the same period, employee numbers have decreased marginally by 0.3% to 1,407,476.  Longer term the sector has experienced a 2% decline in turnover over the last 3 years, and a 0.8% fall in employee numbers.  See UK Growth by Sector section for more detail.
